1956 ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL

This medal was issued to commemorative the transition of Pakistan to an Islamic Republic on the 23rd March 1956. Text is bilingual in both Urdu and Bengali. Tamgha-i-Jamhuria translates as 'Republic Medal'. Material: Cupro-nickel. Size: 1 ½” diameter (about 38mm). Process: Die stamped. Imprint: There is no marking or text impressed into the side rim.
